About Craig Perry
He began his career in 1989, having passed the Nevada State Bar and being duly sworn in in October of that year. He attended Brigham Young University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1985. He also attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, graduating in 1988.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Perry began his legal career in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989 working for an insurance defense firm. He worked primarily on the $70 million Pepcon litigation case, which remains one of the largest complex tort litigation cases in the history of the State of Nevada.
In 1991, Mr. Perry and another local attorney started their own general law practice. Mr. Perry managed the civil side of the practice, handling business and corporate clients as well as personal injury and workers compensation clients with both insurance claims and insurance litigation. The company operated profitably until their split in 1995, when he began a solo practice. By 1998, Mr. Perry was asked to join a large well-known law firm in the Las Vegas community, where he worked for two years until he was asked to join another larger law firm to help manage both the litigation and claims departments. After those two positions, Mr. Perry returned to private practice in 2004, opening his firm, the law firm of Craig K. Perry & Associates, which he operates presently.
While much of Mr. Perry's well-known abilities are with insurance claims and litigation, he has always been himself an entrepreneur who has enjoyed helping other start-up companies. Besides owning a few businesses of his own over the years, he has also been consulting businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and small businesses alike for 18 years. He recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of a network marketing firm, a position from which he recently resigned. He is a legal advisor to several businesses. He has been working very hard in the past years to help small businesses and investors with such things as non-disclosure, non-competition and non-circmvent agreements, letters of intent business agreements, trademark issues, incorporation, policies and procedure manuals, employment handbooks, contract negotiation, litigation negotiation and settlement, and business arbitration. He has helped companies raise money, has represented brokers in financial trancactions, and investors alike. He enjoys helping put deals together from which the individuals, communities and thereby the US economy can become stronger and provide jobs for Americans. He has also been involved in helping put together international business deals and relations. In 2008 recently helped a local developer present a $200 million project to the City of Las Vegas for consideration.
In the past three years, Mr. Perry's firm has also helped many local citizens with credit reporting discrepancies in an effort to clean up their credit and raise their scores thereby, and loan modifications.
