Workers Compensation - Course and Scope of WorkIf you are injured while on the job, you may be able to make a worker’s compensation claim. Every employer who is in the course and scope of employment is entitled to benefits if the accident causes or aggravates an injury. Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether an injured party is "at work". Usually, driving to and from work does is not covered. But if you already checked into work, then you may be covered. You do not have to prove that the employer was at fault in any way for the accident; Only that you were at work when it happened. |
