Debt Negotiation

Sometimes, after a default judgment has been entered, during litigation, at the beginning of litigation, or even prior to litigation, it's easiest and best to satisfy the obligation owed. Often, the amount you need to pay can be negotiated.

Before you decide to negotiate a debt, you should consult with an attorney to consider all of the other possibilities. We can help you determine the best course of action for the situation you are in.

Let's talk about an example. You receive a letter that asks you to pay a debt owed. You think you are legally required to pay. But sometimes debt collectors are trying to collect on debt that is past the statute of limitations. Their letters should tell you they are trying to collect on time-barred debt, but you don't know what to look for.

When you come to visit us, bring in your papers and let us help you decide to do in your individual case.

We can help you negotiate your obligations and pay only what is necessary.
